Dr. Eric Milbrandt is a critical care medicine specialist with over 15 years of experience providing care to the sickest of hospitalized patients, including those with severe depression. "My mission is to help those who are hurting, especially those with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and chronic fatigue." I have personally struggled with depression and the effects of childhood trauma most of my adult life. I know just how painful and debilitating these can be, not only for those suffering from it but for their loved ones as well. As much as 25% of depression and other mood disorders are treatment resistant. IV ketamine therapy provides hope and healing for those who are suffering.
Unresolved trauma is one of the most common reasons for treatment-resistance in depression and recurrent relapse in addiction. Trauma need not be physical to be harmful, as psychological trauma can be equally damaging. Trauma-focused care is a powerful tool to help people work through their trauma and can be the pivotal change that brings lasting recovery. Dr. Milbrandt is a Certified Trauma Professional, having completed over 200 hours of training in the most effective trauma therapy techniques.
